President:

Matt Crowley — Clark Construction
Matt has been a part of several design build projects on both east and west coast. He has worn several hats in the construction industry including design engineer, field supervisor and project manager. The variety of experience allows for unique problem solving while thinking outside of the box. As DBIA region president, Matt has brought life back to the organization in a booming Nashville market. His goal for DBIA SC is to provide the necessary education to those using the DB project delivery method to ensure success.

Vice President:

Mark Bratton — Summit Electrical Construction
Mark is President of Summit Electrical Construction, Inc. currently serves as President for the Subcontractors Association of Alabama and Ambassador for NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies). Previously, Mark served as Chairman of the Board for the Construction Education Foundation of Alabama and was the Education Committee Chair and Vice President for the American Subcontractors Association of Alabama.

Secretary:

Nathan Holman — AECOM
Nathan is deputy DM and Roadway Task Lead for South Capitol St DB in Washington DC. DM for I-40 DB in Wilson Co TN. He is involved in various DB pursuits around the SE Region. He previously served as a board member for the Middle TN ASHE.

Treasurer:

Justin Eckel — Volkert Engineering
Justin currently serves as the Engineering Manager for Volkert's Tennessee operations. The group consists of roadway engineers, bridge engineers, traffic engineers, and planners. I also serve as project manager on multiple roadway and bridge design projects. Previously, he completed the ACEC TN Leadership PE course.

Education Chair:

Aman Kahlon — Bradley Law
Aman has been managing the associate marketing and business development committee for Bradley's construction practice group for the past two years. In 2018, he completed the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum, Class 14. Additionally in 2016, he completed the Future leaders in Construction program through the local ABC chapter.

Legislative Chair:

Brian Day — CB Ragland Company
Brian is a former National DBIA Board Member, and dedicated advocate for design-build, including supporting and shaping curriculum at MTSU and guest lecture(s) at Vanderbilt University, University of Denver and other higher education venues.

 

Programs Chair:

Luke Newell — Dunn Building Company
Luke is the Vice President, Central Area manager for Dunn Building; leading several project managers/estimators and administrators. He holds a role as the President for a non-profit board providing necessary leadership experience.
